Ananke Market Morning Teaser — Mon Oct 19
The morning bounce is bending by early afternoon. The S&P 500 holds +0.5% and the Nasdaq +1.2%, but the leveraged chip trade has handed back most of its midday spike — $SOXL$ is still +6.9% on the day, just well off its highs, and $TQQQ$ has cooled to +4.1%.
Ananke's regime still reads Recovery Long Bias at light size. The system flipped $SOXL$ and $TQQQ$ long at 10:00 AM ET and is holding both through the fade, while $SPY$ and $GDX$ sit flat after this morning's short closes and $USO$ stays long, +10.1% since Oct 1. Bonds are doing haven work again with the 10-year near 5.07%, oil is two-way near $108 Brent, and with the Fed in blackout, Wednesday's Tesla and Meta earnings carry the week.
Afternoon tape — which side are you on: A) the midday fade is profit-taking before earnings, or B) this bounce is running out of buyers?
