The AI chain is doing all the work this afternoon: Super Micro raised its Q3 revenue guidance to $18.5–19.5 billion (from $14.5–15.5 billion) and lifted its margin outlook, and semiconductors ripped — $SOXL$ up more than 6% intraday. SpaceX posted Q3 revenue of $14.6 billion, up 161% and ahead of estimates; Elon Musk said the SpaceX and Tesla boards have each formed a committee to discuss a potential merger, and $TSLA$ is up over 3%. The Nasdaq is up about 1.1%, the S&P 500 about 0.6%.

Tonight is the real test: $META$, $TSLA$, $IBM$, Lam Research and Texas Instruments all report after the close — and the bar is guidance, not EPS. This morning Intuitive Surgical, Danaher and AT&T all beat estimates and fell anyway, the same “beats aren’t enough” pattern that cut Netflix 6% on Tuesday.

Ananke’s read: the regime holds Recovery Long Bias (light). The $SOXL$ long from Oct 19 is up 2.06% on the chip bid, the $USO$ long from Oct 1 is up 9.34% with Brent near $111, while the $SPY$, $TQQQ$ and $GDX$ legs sit flat. On style, the model still calls value small-caps leading ($IWM$ over $QQQ$, VALUE_STRONG since Oct 8) — but today’s tape is the third straight day running against it, with $QQQ$ +1.17% vs $IWM$ +0.29%, as the AI chain pulls growth back in front.

Merger talk plus tonight’s prints: A) the AI chain breaks higher into the close on momentum, or B) the news is already priced in and the tape fades into tonight’s reports. Which side are you on?
